May Ipsy GlamBag

Today’s post is about my May Ipsy GlamBag. First of all, I really like the pouch they come in each month. I re-purpose them as gift bags too. They come up with a theme kind of every month and everything inside and the bag are around that theme. That’s very creative.

That been said, this month I am little disappointed.  I feel like , I got kind of all samples this month. But all the products I got seems natural no-chemicals kind of products. Atleast I got to try some good stuff ,else I would have not known that there are chemical free beauty products. May be I was expecting all beauty products every month and here is what I got this month.

1. Avene Thermal Spring Water, Soothing and Softening. As the name suggests , its like water. Do not have any scent or texture to it. Kind of like a facial mist kind. It retails for $12.00 for 5.29Oz.
2. Pur~lisse Hyder-Balance Moisturizer – again a sample of it.This seems to be a very expensive products. It retails for $55 for 50ml of it.
3. Sans Tan Pure white Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 35. I am glad I got a sunscreen sample that too all natural one, I can easily carry for the vacations this summer. I think this is the only natural sunscreen that I have ever seen. A full size retails for about $21.99.
4. Hey Honey take it off Exfoliating Honey Peel off Mask for all skin types. I think this sample might come for 2 applications I guess. I would have enjoyed , if it was a little bigger sample.
5. Pacifica Natural Beauty Eyeshadow Duo#1 – last but not least finally a beauty product, offcourse all natural eye shadow. I have never used a natural eye shadow. I am super excited to try this. It swatch great no fall outs and 2 beautiful natural colors. Here is a closer look at them.

Overall it was a ok!! bag this month, but not very exciting one.

April Favorites

Today’s post is about my monthly favorites for April. I was looking for Summer so bad and it still so cold where I live with pouring rain every week. I do not know what changed, but my skin has been so good recently. I was just having minimal makeup.

Face:

I have to mention this Kabuki brush from ELF.For $3 this is so soft and do not shred at all. I use it for setting powder and then to blend everything at the end. For Foundation I mostly used, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup with SPF 20 in Soft Beige  as everyday to work and ELF Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 in Beige if i need something to run errands. I uses ELF Tone Correcting Powder in Cool as setting powder, i have been using this for years now and does really blends everything.During sprint summer, i go very light on blush and let my bronzer do the working.  I mostly uses Tarte Park Ave Princess Amazonian clay Matte Bronzer. ELF Baked Blush in Rich Rose and Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour Blush in Doll Face.

Eyes:

For concealer, I mostly used Soniakaushak concealer in Hidden agenda. This is kind of lost and found product. I used to use this a lot a while back and rediscovered it again this month and i have fallen in Love with it again. It has 3 colors to match my skin all sesons and a setting powder. I am not sure if we can get this at target anymore bit a very good product. For eyeshadow I was mainly using 2 lite and shinny NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Strawberry Milk, a pinky añade and Oyster a light lavender shade with Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! 4-in-1 Mascara

Lips:

For lips Covergirl  Lipstick in Divine Divine. NYX Butter Gloss in Maple Blondie and Creme Brulee.
